Gynaecomastia

The term gynaecomastia refers to a benign enlargement of the male breast on one or both sides.

Before the operation there is a need for a sonographic and hormonal control.

If the hormonal markers are in the physiological area, the operation can be performed either by liposuction or by small incisions around the areola. In rare cases, the scar may take the shape of an anchor.

Postoperatively, wearing an elastic bandage is considered necessary.
